I Love Owls!
I just love cute little owl crafts!!! I made this owl from a felted sweater and some felt. (Wash a wool sweater and let it shrink. The sweater turns into a nice piece of felt that doesn't unravel and is great for making crafts!) Isn't he so cute?
I put a little rock in the bottom to give him some "weight" so he doesn't fall over. I can't wait to make some more, maybe in different sizes so that there will be a little family.
The pattern is from Countryside Softies, a book by Amy Adams that I found at Joann's and just had to get!

Make a Fabric Catch-All Tutorial
Isn't this little Catch-All made from fabric cute? I love making these and have them around my house to "catch" lots of things! They make a quick and easy gift, too.
I have wanted to include some tutorials on my blog to show you how to make some simple sewing projects. Today I made this little basket catch-all out of fabric and thought that you might like to make one yourself!
It's pretty simple if you have some basic (machine) sewing knowledge. If you'd like to make one, click on the tab at the top of my page for the tutorial.
Let me know how your catch-all turns out! What are you going to use it for?

Card Set
This week I wanted to made a set of cards using only one stamp set and one package of designer paper. I took out the Sunshine and Shadows paper and the Easy Events stamp set. These are the cards that I came up with. (I got some of the ideas from Julie Branhart on her blog.)
I just love the card made with the little tree that says, Sending you love. I want to make a lot of these and send them to my family!
I haven't really ever used this stamp set before, but after playing around with it and seeing what easy cards you can make with it, I realized how much that I like it now!
Which one do you like the best?
