for Mini Candy Box
To make the Mini Candy Box, you
will need:
A piece of cardstock for the box, cut 5 ½” x 5 ¼”
A piece of designer paper to decorate the box, cut 1 ¼” x 7”
A piece of cardstock for the belly band, cut 1 ½” x 5 ½”
Four pieces of designer paper for the candies, cut 1” x 3”
A large flower cut-out, a small flower cut-out for the center, 2 leaf cut-outs and a rhinestone for the belly band
A small flower cut out with a rhinestone for the candies.
A piece of cardstock for the box, cut 5 ½” x 5 ¼”
A piece of designer paper to decorate the box, cut 1 ¼” x 7”

Four pieces of designer paper for the candies, cut 1” x 3”
A large flower cut-out, a small flower cut-out for the center, 2 leaf cut-outs and a rhinestone for the belly band

Take out your cardstock box piece that is 5 ½” x 5 ¼”
With your paper in horizontal view, score at ¾”, 2 ¼” 3” and 4 1/2”. (Diagram is not to scale.)

Turn
your paper to the portrait view and score at ¾” and 4 ¾”.

Fold
on all of the score lines to start forming your box.

Place
sticky strip where the gray rectangular spaces are shown in the diagram. Assemble your box.
Take
out your designer paper 1 1/4” x 7.”
Adhere this strip to the top panel of your box, wrapping it around the
side edges as shown in the photo.
Take
out your cardstock 1 ½” x 5 ½” for the belly band. Wrap this around your finished box and fold
around the sides. Score on the fold
lines to make your band nice and crisp.
Glue it together on the bottom side.
Now
you are ready to decorate your belly band.
Adhere a flower with glue dots and attach some leaves and other desired
embellishments.
Use
the four designer paper 1” x 3” strips to wrap around your Hershey’s
nuggets. Stick a glue dot to hold them
in place. Attach a small flower to one
of the candies to decorate them.
