Encouraging Magnets

For the past couple of weeks I've been making these sweet little magnets for my friends.  I've been putting them in cards, giving them to family, and handing them out with my Stamping orders.

They're so much fun to make and don't take a lot of time.  The size is about the size of an artist trading card.  They're approx 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 - just the perfect size for a magnet.

For these, I used the stamp set Hold onto to Hope and the Best Dressed designer papers.  I cut a rectangle out of my cardstock and mounted it onto a piece of cardboard.  I used the cardboard that comes in the designer paper packs.  Then I added a magnet to the back.

I had bought some magnetic sheets a while back and just cut them a bit shorter than the back of the magnet.  They are self-adhering.

I added some wooden butterflies and flowers that I had left over from last year's Sale-a-Bration and added some pretty colored pearls for embellishments.

Throughout the weeks I have made several different designs.  This one uses the Woven Threads designer papers.

Here are more with the Woven Threads.  So far everyone has loved them!  It's a quick and easy way to tell others that you are thinking about them.  I'm off to make more...

Sweet, huh?
